Support Us! PDF Print E-mail

The ministries of the Diyar Consortium need your support.

Even though most of our programs' participants pay program or usage fees, this often does not cover the actual operating costs of the programs or facilities.

There are several ways in which you can help us to bridge this gap between what people can afford to pay and the actual operating expenses of the programs run by Diyar.

  • Giving a Scholarship
You can give a scholarship to support a Bright Stars student, a Dar al-Kalima College student, an Azwaj family, or an Ajyal senior citizen through the Bright Stars of Bethlehem NFP in the US.  Please click here for more information.

  • Donating Online
If you can't commit to donating a scholarship but still want to help, please make an online donation through our secure donation portal.  You can check a box indicating where you would like your gift to be directed, or you can send it "wherever it is most needed" by indicating so on the form.

(Note: this link goes to the US donation site.  Donors worldwide may donate through this portal, but donations are only tax-deductible for donors residing in the US.  For German or Danish supporters, please visit your country's friendship association website for information on how to give.)

  • Volunteering On-Site
If you are planning a trip to Bethlehem and would like to be involved in any of our projects, please click here (link goes to BrightStarsBethlehem.org) for more information on volunteering with the Diyar Consortium.  If you can teach a class, lead a workshop, or help with painting or landscaping, we would appreciate the donation of your time and energy!

  • Organizing a Bazaar
Does your city, town, church or school organize annual Bazaars or Craft Fairs?  Do you work with a local one world or third world crafts shop?  If so, you can include items made by our local artisans in Bethlehem at your next event!

Now, you can browse The Cave's Online Gift Catalogue and order items directly through the new Gift Shop Website, including our popular "Bazaar in a Box" packages, designed to take the guesswork out of bringing Bethlehem to your church or community gathering!  Click here to see how to order online.

Sponsor a stand featuring items from Bethlehem produced by the Cave Arts & Crafts Center at the International Center of Bethlehem.  Help to market and reach out to people during Advent & Easter.  Help create job opportunities for women & the unemployed.
